I have been really skeptical about the glazed paints. I honestly didn't care for them when they came out. The packaging caught my eye and i was like .."These look a lot like the "Too Faced melted lipglosses" so i went online and all the colors i saw where just bright and eye popping. I was excited to try them out.
Now this one i'm reviewing i got as a gift and i can't wait to try more out. I got this from my friend and it gave me an idea of what the product feels like and stuff.
L.A Girl Says: Making their much anticipated debut, Glazed Lip Paints give the intensely pigmented appearance of a lipstick, with the ease and glossy finish of a lipgloss. Glazed collection includes 18 of the most sought-after, trendsetting colors this season while providing long lasting, hyper glossy, ultra rich color to lips. Extreme bright colors cool and nourish lips with vitamin E and peppermint oil.
DAZZLE BEAUTIE: First of all, this lip glaze is very glossy and pigmented.Secondly, i noticed the peppermint smell. It is quite strong and i wish they had gone for a more fruity scent. With this you only need a little or you will have a huge goop of product all over your lips. The first time i applied this i have to use my fingers to spread it out evenly. I recommend using a brush with this one or try lining your lips after you apply to contain the product and stop it from slipping and sliding.
Now this shade i got is a very light bright pink that does not suit my skin tone. It is very "St Germainish"and that is too pale.I definitely want to try out other shades like PIN UP, TANGO, BABYDOLL, BOMBSHELL,BLUSHING etc. All the reviews i've seen online have been so pretty i'm dying to try a lot more!!
What do you guys think about this? What shades do you like and would reccommend?
Thanks for stopping by!!
Thanks for the review, how about longevity?
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of the LA girl glazed lip paints and I've noticed Whimsical looks better with light brown lip liner. As for it's staying power, maybe 4-5 hours before you need to reapply
