MILEY CYRUS FOR MAC V.I.V.A GLAM CAMPAIGN!!!

MAC VIVA GLAM Campaigns just make me so happy!! They are always blog worthy!! The queen of "twerk"(coughs) Miley Cyrus is the new face of the fantastic initiative from MAC and i am here for all of it!!

Miley has joined the list of super star celebs to throw their star power behind this very worthy cause . From Lady gaga, Nicki Minaj to Rihanna , the lipsticks have been nothing short of amazing. I remember dying to get my hands on the Lady gaga lipstick and i eventually settled for a dupe because it sold out so quickly. I did purchase the two Minaj's and the Rihanna one too. I can't wait to get my hands on this one. I must say i am a Viva Glam faithful!

Judging from the picture it is a neon bright bubblegum pink and looks like an amplified finish..(I'm guessing here but if i'm right remember this guys) LOL. The lipglass is packing some serious glitter and i'm sure we will all love it. She also looks so sexy and grown on this 90s inspired promo cover.. Very fitting AD for her new image.

*Every dollar in sales from her Viva Glam shade will be donated to the Mac AIDS Fund, which benefits those affected by HIV.

Who is excited? Will you be purchasing? I know i am! I can't wait!! The line is expected in Early 2015 so get ready ladies ..... and Gents!*wink*

REVIEW: L.A GIRL GLAZED LIP PAINT IN WHIMSICAL

I have been really skeptical about the glazed paints. I honestly didn't care for them when they came out. The packaging caught my eye and i was like .."These look a lot like the "Too Faced melted lipglosses" so i went online and all the colors i saw where just bright and eye popping. I was excited to try them out.

Now this one i'm reviewing i got as a gift and i can't wait to try more out. I got this from my friend and it gave me an idea of what the product feels like and stuff.

L.A Girl Says: Making their much anticipated debut, Glazed Lip Paints give the intensely pigmented appearance of a lipstick, with the ease and glossy finish of a lipgloss. Glazed collection includes 18 of the most sought-after, trendsetting colors this season while providing long lasting, hyper glossy, ultra rich color to lips. Extreme bright colors cool and nourish lips with vitamin E and peppermint oil.

DAZZLE BEAUTIE: First of all, this lip glaze is very glossy and pigmented.Secondly, i noticed the peppermint smell. It is quite strong and i wish they had gone for a more fruity scent. With this you only need a little or you will have a huge goop of product all over your lips. The first time i applied this i have to use my fingers to spread it out evenly. I recommend using a brush with this one or try lining your lips after you apply to contain the product and stop it from slipping and sliding.

Now this shade i got is a very light bright pink that does not suit my skin tone. It is very "St Germainish"and that is too pale.I definitely want to try out other shades like PIN UP, TANGO, BABYDOLL, BOMBSHELL,BLUSHING etc. All the reviews i've seen online have been so pretty i'm dying to try a lot more!!

What do you guys think about this? What shades do you like and would reccommend?

PURPLE PASSION

Hi Guys, I took a few days off work to "get my life" and during that time i was able to sneak in a makeup look! I wanted to play with different shades of purple this time around. I don't have a favourite color but if i was to choose a top 5 purple will definitely make the cut.

For this look i grabbed my "oh so faithful" BH smokey palette. Now that palette is a life saver and great for the price too. Don't sleep on it. I plan on using this for a lot more looks. There are just so many colors to mix and match.

I used a shimmery lilac color with flecks of gold on the lid and a dark plumy purple on the outer V. In my crease i used a matte purple color after i warmed it up withmy transition color(swiss chocolate).

BEAUTY AFRICA CONFERENCE DAY 1!!

Hi guys!!

The Beauty Africa Conference has come and gone and i am very proud that i was one of the official bloggers for such an awesome event. Eeeeeeek i was so proud when i saw my blog name on the banner. How cute!

I know this blog post is a week late but i haven't had time to post it. I know the pics are all over the internet.. It looked fab right? I was able to attend DAY 1 and i caught the last few hours on day 3 because i was at work. The day before the main event, we where invited to a cocktail at Eko Hotel which i attended(thanks to the public holiday) and that was a lot of fun.

Day 1 of the  event was a lot of fun. I got to hang out with my bloggie friends and i learn't so much. It was lovely watching the makeup experts do their demonstrations and i especially loved that of Fatima Mamza of Mamza Beauty. She so soft spoken and all round gorgeous. I also learnt how to air brush from Khuraira Musa who i must say is extremely beautiful and has a very bubbly personality.

I wasn't able to take a lot of pictures because i was using my Ipad and i'm guessing we all know how much i dislike taking pictures with anything but my professional camera. Oh on that, i got it back so yaaaaaay!!! I have a ton of makeup looks and reviews for you all.

Pics below!
