Jordana Lipstick Review (True red and Radiant red)

Hello my dolls, so over the weekend, i decided to go hunting for a cheaper alternative red lipstick to substitute with my high end lipsticks. Frankly, as much as i love them, i dont like to wear them all the time so i decided to go hunting and i found not one but two lipsticks from the same brand.

The lipsticks i will be reviewing are from Jordana cosmetics in the shades 077True Red and 105Radiant Red. When i got to the store/ was going through the lipsticks on the Jordana stand, i noticed that they do have quite a few red lipsticks, but i decided to pick these two up because they looked so bright from the case.

Radiant red is more true to color than TRUE RED!! To get this level of color pay off, i had to swatch the lipsticks about three to four times.

I swatched the lipsticks beside MAC's Russian red to show their level of pigmentation. Radiant red is closer to Russian red (just a tad bit brighter) while True red is more creamy with less color pay off. The lipsticks where N500 each so i guess i get what i paid for with these.

Would i recommend? YES! They are a good buy if you want to spend your money on a lipstick thats not too expensive or you want a cheaper alternative to the high end lipsticks for everyday use.

Do any of my dolls have any of the Jordana lipsticks in other colors?? Do let me know what colors you have and would recommend? I kinda like these though.. :)

Hi Dolls, How is everyone doing? I hope you all are having a great weekend. Sorry for the lack of posts for about two weeks. Ive been very occupied with work but ive been building up some posts for my sweeties so please bare with me.

TOP 10 Mac Lipsticks

Hi my dolls! I hope everyone is having a great weekend! so today i will be sharing with you my top 10 Mac lipsticks(for now). I have been a huge fan of Mac cosmetics for a very long time and i especially love their lipsticks. Call me corny but i believe they all have different personalities and i absolutely love their funky names ;D... Over time i have come to acquire quite a few of them and shortlisting down to ten was a bit of a task but i did it.... So no more rambling.... MEET THE BAD GURLS ;D

MAC ANGEL LIPSTICK

This is a soft, pale, pink lipstick that is a frost finish. It is light,creamy and glossy with no frosty look to it actually. I got this lippie for a reason most of us already know. This happens to be KIM KARDASHIAN'S favourite mac lipstick and i just had to get it and i love it as well.;D I apply this lightly cuz it can look a little to light on my skin tone but i know how to work with it.

MAC FRECKLETONE LIPSTICK

This is a peachy nude lippie and also a lustre finish. Freckletone is very glossy and moisturizing on the lips and its one of those lipsticks i dont even need a mirror to apply.. For a lustre it is quite pigmented and with one or two layers of this your good. I usually wear this with a smokey eye.

MAC SHYGIRL LIPSTICK

This is described as a “creamy neutral coral beige” and has a Cremesheen finish. It’s a soft beige peach with a hint of pink. Shygirl is very creamy and moisturizing on the lips and also one of mac's top seling lipsticks. I also love to wear this with a smokey eye or bronze/coppery eyes.

MAC VEGAS VOLT LIPSTICK

This is described as a brightened orange-coral with a creamy, opaque finish.This is an amplfied finish which means it is very pigmented and packs a lot of color. It is a full coverage, intense color that definitely brightens the face as well and works particularly well on warmer skin tones. My sister got this for me by accident and i fell in love with this anyways as i was gettig into coral/orangey lippies at the time. Ladies if you looking for that coral, This is SHE!! ;D

MAC IMPASSIONED LIPSTICK

This is described as a nearly neon pink-red with a hint of coral warmth. It has an amplified creme finish. It is creamy and applies smoothly on the lips.When i first got this i was afraid to wear this out of the house because i thought it was a bit too bright and then i wore it out one day and got so much compliments and ive been hooked ever since. It brightens up the whole face instantly with just one swipe. I like to wear this with a super winged eyeliner.

MAC VIVA GLAM NICKI LIPSTICK

This is described as a vibrant medium pink with subtle yellow undertones that gives a kiss of coral. It has a satin finish, which means it has a semi-matte finish. I am a huge fan of Nicki Minaj and didnt pick up PINK FRIDAY because that lipstick was just o_o...*PAUSE*... Anyways this was a gift from a friend and i ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOVE THIS! Just one swipe and ur lips are poppin! I try not to go too crazy with the eyes when i wear this. It looks good on everyone so if you ever wanted to get this liptick and though twice you dont have to worry go get urs ...BARBIE!! ;) haha

MAC UP THE AMP LIPSTICK

This is described as a creamy, opaque purple with a bit of reddish-violet tones to it. It is an amplified finish and a very sexy "out of the ordinary" color. I always get loads of compliments whenever i wear this and i would definitely recommend to anyone on the hunt for a great purple lipstick.

MAC GIRL ABOUT TOWN LIPSTICK

This is described as a vibrant shade of darkened, bright fuchsia pink. It has an amplified creme finish, which makes it a very creamy, opaque shade. This has to be one of Mac's most popular lipsticks and i was drawn to it firstly for the name and then the color..:D It is suitable on all skintones and i like to wear this with blue or purple smokey eyemakeup.

MAC PINK NOUVEAU LIPSTICK

This is described as a cool-toned, blue-based light-medium pink. It is also a satin finish. Pink nouveau was the first pink lipstick i got from MAC and i absolutely love it. It is a great balance between Saint germain(which i want so badly but know to stay away from) and girl about town. It is very pigmented and can be a little bit drying after a while so pls prep ur lips before swipping this on ladies..Overall it is a beautiful, bright,barbie doll

MAC RUBY WOO LIPSTICK

This is described as a blue-based red with a matte finish and nearly opaque color coverage. This has to be Mac's best selling lipstick of all time.I dont know any mac addict that desnt own this. It’s a very retro "throwback" red if i may say.The staying power is great and i love to wear this with nude eyemakeup.

I must inform you my loves that this lipstick is very DRYING and somewhat hard to apply. Be sure to exfoliate your lips and use and prep them before applying.

Mosaic/ Powder Bronzer Review

Hi my dolls! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. So sorry i havent posted in a while. I have been going crazy looking for my internet stick. Still havent found it but i have alternative internet now so yaay!:) .

Today i want to share with you some bronzers i picked up from a shop recently.I actually went in to pick up some lipglosses (which i will be reviewing soon) and these caught my eye.The funny thing is they are from a no name brand so i cannot tell you what company makes them but if anyone has them or knows where they are from please let me know.

With flash

They come in a black compact case and a mirror also. I really like how shimmery they are and are very great for highlighting the nose and cheekbones. I use the mosaic one as a blush and i use the one named 'KENYA' as a highlight powder and i must say i am really impressed.
